Summary
Erwin Felix Freeman was Technical Superintendent of the Hobart firm, O. and F. Co. (later known as Oerlikon Manufacturing Ltd), then a chemist in the Hydro-Electric Commission Inspection and Testing Section from 1948. He was the originator of a number of Australian and overseas patents covering arc welding and electrode coatings.
