Russell Aubrey Fowler was a monitor and later a teacher in the Western Australian Education Department 1903-53. He held the following positions: Science teacher and then Deputy Head of Bunbury High School, 1923-1953; Headmaster of Geraldton High School, 1939-1944; Headmaster of Albany High School, 1944-1949; Headmaster of Bunbury High School, 1949-1953.
