Summary
George Collie worked for his father's company, which manufactured printing ink. He was technical director from 1917, managing director from 1950 and chairman of directors of Collie (Australia) Limited, and R. Collie & Co. Pty Ltd. Collie was also President of the Printing Ink Manufacturers' Association. He completed a Dip. analytical chemistry at the University of Melbourne.
