Summary

John Waterson practised as a dentist for 20 years before becoming an academic in the dental faculties of the Universities of Adelaide, Western Australia and Melbourne in turn. His final position was as a Professor of Conservative Dentistry at the University of Melbourne from 1978-1982 and Professor of Restorative Dentistry from 1982-1988. He held numerous positions on University, Dental Board and Dental Hospital Committees in Adelaide, Perth and Melbourne.
