Summary
Wilson Ramsay came to Australia in 1840 on the "Thomas Lowry" as medical officer in charge of emigrants. He then served as a naval surgeon in China. He returned to Australia about 1847 and practised at Braidwood, Mudgee, Camden and Gulgong, New South Wales. He was probably still practising in 1878.
