Summary
Richard Ernest Trebilcock accompanied R.E. Hall (q.v.) to the Lena River Delta, Siberia in 1903 as taxidermist and photographer. They reached one of the breeding grounds of the Sharp-tailed Sandpiper Calidris acuminata, where they saw chicks and collected a female, about 50 years before this breeding ground was officially announced by Russian ornithologist K.A. Vorobiev.
