Summary
Alfred Mica Smith was appointed lecturer in chemistry, Ballarat School of Mines, 1881. He was Head of the Science Section, Ballarat School of Mines 1887-93 and President of the Chemistry Section of the Australasian Association for the Advancement of Science in 1902.
