<abstract>Jason Sargent is an Information Systems (IS) scholar dedicated to "bringing people and technology together for a better world." His research focuses on Public Interest Technology (PIT) and IS for social impact, specifically aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

His extensive humanitarian field experience includes:
• Refugee Relief: conducting PhD fieldwork with refugees on the Thai-Burma border.
• Remote Communities: leading the award-winning IT for Social Impact India project co-creating digital solutions for tribal village schools in the Satpuda Ranges, Maharashtra.
• Crisis Management: researching digital aid frameworks for humanitarian relief operations.
