Luke Djukic is an aerospace engineer who specialises in research and innovation in the advanced composites industry. His research focuses on improving the safety and efficiency of transporting dangerous goods internationally, particularly highly corrosive chemicals. He is Chief Technical Officer at Omni Tanker, a company widely recognised for its high-integrity, technology-based dangerous goods transport products. Its carbon fibre composite tanks are now used in many countries. Djukic contributes to improvements in worldwide safety standards as a member of a United nations working party on transport regulations. In 2021 Djukic was awarded the David and Valerie Solomon Award.
