<abstract>The New South Wales Computer Society was one of the constituent state societies that merged in January 1966 to form the Australian Computer Society (ACS). The N.S.W. Society became the N.S.W. Branch of the ACS. John M. Bennett, President at the time of merger, became the inaugural President of the combined Society. During its brief life, the N.S.W. Society published the <span style="font-style:italic">N.C.S. bulletin</span>.</abstract>
