It is dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, particularly relating to child health and development, nutrition, chronic diseases, substance abuse and mental health. Partnerships have been forged with over 60 remote communities across northern Australia , and with other research facilities in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.
