In writing material for the new Flora of New South Wales she wrote principally on the families Polygalaceae, Tremandraceae and Fabaceae, Conifers, and small mostly aquatic monocotyledonous families. She was particularly interested in alpine and sub-alpine plants, substantial collections of which she made over a period of 30 years from 1965 and which are now in the Herbarium.
