<abstract>Robert Collie was a Presbyterian Minister and botanical collector living and working in Sydney New South Wales between 1876 and 1892. Robert Collie had a particular interest in the way bushfires dispersed plant species. He bequeathed his collection of books and herbarium to the New South Wales Linnean Society.</abstract>
