He played leading roles in the Gemini Deep Deep and the WiggleZ Dark Energy Surveys, and developed the open-source Perl Data Language. Glazebrook became Professor of Astronomy at Swinburne University of Technology in 2006, where he is also Director of the Centre for Astrophysics and Supercomputing.
