<abstract>William Stan Boston served as the Industry Liaison Officer for the Division of Textile Industry CSIRO. Stan Boston was also involved in the 1986 publication <span style="font-style:italic">Wool textile research</span> . Stand Boston was also heavily involved in the establishment of Sirovilla retirement village alongside his colleagues within the CSIRO Division of Textile Industries social club. A sub-committee of the CSIRO Division of Textile Industries social club was formed dedicated to the development of affordable and secure housing for retiaries. From 1983 - 1985 Stan Boston served as secretary on this committee.</abstract>
