Since moving to Australia in 1994 he has worked at the CSIRO leading various projects in this realm, most notably being a member of the team that developed Gigabit Wireless network technology. This research project won the CSIRO Chairman's Medal in 2007.

Dyadyuk was awarded the following CSIRO medals:

2007 - CSIRO Chairman's Medal for Science and Engineering Excellence (with colleagues) as a member of the Gigabit Wireless Team for the developmentof the world's fastest and most spectrally efficient 6 gigabit per second wireless millimetre-wave communications link;

2012 - CSIRO Chairman's Medal for Science and Engineering Excellence (with Yingjie Jay Guo and members of the Ngara Backhaul Project Team) or developing the world's fastest 10 gigabit per second microwave link for the National Broadband Network as well as for the wider telecommunications industry. This innovation has the potential to significantly improve broadband services in rural and regional Australia.
