Some of his other roles include Research Director of Sydney-based CSG Solar Pty Ltd, Board member of CSG Solar Pty Ltd and its parent CSG Solar AG, and Advisory Board member of many major international photovoltaic conferences and agencies. Green's contributions to photovoltaics are well known internationally and he has received several major awards, only a few of which are listed here. He and his group have carried out fundamental work on identifying the factors limiting silicon solar cell output improving their performance by over 50%.
