<abstract>Graeme Barry Cox was Head of the Membrane Biochemistry Group at John Curtin School of Medical Science at the Australian National University in Canberra. Some of his many research highlights include the discovery of a previously unknown source of vitamin K - chorismic acid, the identification of enterobactin (2,3-dihydroxybenzoylserine) and a theory on the mechanism of action of ATP-ase.</abstract>
