<abstract>Beryl Grant worked as a nurse in Western Australia. She was later appointed magistrate of the Perth Children's Court. Grant was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE), 1 January 1976, for her nursing work. On 12 June 2000 she was appointed Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) for her service to nursing and the community, through the support and development of services and programmes for children and families, particularly in rural and remote areas of Australia.</abstract>
<p>She was a Fellow, Royal College of Nursing Australia (FRCNA)</p>
