One of his projects was managing the integrated automatic processing of data recorded during missile flight trials. This led to the WREDAC computer, which began operations in 1956. He later used the WREDAC to process WRE's administrative date, the basis for his later plans for a totally automated administrative information system in the Department of Defence.
