<abstract>Frank Kyngdon was one of the early proponents for the establishment of an agricultural college in New South Wales. In 1888 he presented a paper to the Agricultural Society of New South Wales in which he supported the use of a proposed reformatory school for this purpose. He was an active member of the Royal Society of New South Wales, particularly its Microscopical section.</abstract>
