Born Footscray, Melbourne, 23 December 1911. Died Melbourne, 23 April 1989. Honorary Master of Applied Science, Footscray Institute of Technology 1987. Commonwealth public servant (printer, union official and pioneer of business and industrial statistics). Wrote a number of articles for The Emu, as well as a series of articles on birds in the Footscray district, published in The Footscray Advertiser under the nom-de-plume 'Gerygone' and later published as a pamphlet.
