Manufacturing chemist
Roy Colvin spent his entire working life at Colonial Sugar Refining Co. Ltd. He started there in 1916 and progressed to assistant to the chief chemist from 1940 to 1951. He was involved with the process supervision in sugar refineries in Sydney and Melbourne.
