He spent the rest of his illustrious working life in England and is best remembered for his studies on peripheral innervation. Woollard received the French Croix de Guerre and the Symington Memorial Prize from the Anatomical Society of Great Britain and Ireland. After completing his war service he studied for primary examination at the Royal College of Surgeons and became an Anatomy Demonstrator at University College, London. Woollard remained in London for a few years then came to work at the University of Adelaide, but quickly returned to London to take up a post at the St Bartholomew's Hospital (1929-1936). 1910 1910 Education - Bachelor of Medicine (MB) and Bachelor of Surgery (BS), University of Melbourne 1912 1912 Education - Doctor of Medicine (MD), University of Melbourne 1914 1918 Military service - First World War.
