<abstract>Lucy Bryce worked at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research, Melbourne 1922-1928, 1934-1946, and at the Commonwealth Serum Laboratories 1939-1944. She was also a clinical pathologist and Director of the Blood Transfusion Service 1929-1954. Bryce is commemorated by the Lucy Bryce Hall at the Central Blood Bank, Melbourne.</abstract>
