<biogHist>
<abstract>Harald Jenson was Director of Mines and Chief Geologist of the Northern Territory from 1912 to 1916. He was then made Geologist for the Queensland government (1917-1922) and a member of the Aerial Geological and Geographical Survey of Northern Australia. Jensen also had a keen interest in the flora, of the sites of his geological research, particularly those of the eucalypt genus. He collected specimens in the Northern Territory, Queensland and New South Wales.</abstract>
