<abstract>Diana Dyason was Reader in the Department of History and Philosophy of Science, University of Melbourne 1965-1984 and Head of Department 1965-1974. She was a Senior Lecturer 1957-1965 and had been in charge of the department from 1958. Earlier she worked in physiology. The Dyason lectures are present by eminent historian at the annual meeting of the Australasian Association for the History, Philosophy and Social Studies of Science and Society.</abstract>
