<abstract>In 1983 the Dookie Agricultural College became the Dookie Campus of the Victorian College of Agriculture and Horticulture. In 1997 the Victorian College of Agriculture and Horticulture amalgamated with the University of Melbourne's Faculty of Agriculture, Forestry and Horticulture, creating the Institute of Land and Food Resources. Dookie Campus continued as a campus of the newly formed Institute.</abstract>
