Around 1910 he began canning food for export and in 1918 commenced the manufacture of Bonox. Vegemite was a major innovation from 1923 and in 1926 he formed the Kraft Walker Cheese Company Pty Ltd. These companies amalgamated in 1935. Kraft Walker Cheese Company Proprietary Limited (1926 - 1935)
