<abstract>James Hardie Industries is a Public Listed Company. The majority of the company's income is generated from non-metallic mineral product manufacturing industry. The company went on to be one of Australia's biggest producers of asbestos. The company changed its name to James Hardie Asbestos Limited and then James Hardie Industries. In 2001 the company delisted from the Australian Stock Exchange and moved to the Netherlands after a series of asbestos-related court actions taken against the company. It still has major business operations in the USA.</abstract>
