Summary

David Wood is a mathematician whose research interests lie in discrete mathematics, especially structural graph theory, extremal graph theory, graph colouring and combinatorial geometry. Since 2016 he has been Professor in the Discrete Mathematics Research Group at Monash University. He is Co-Director of MATRIX, a residential research institute for mathematical sciences that is a joint venture between several an universities. Between 2015 and 2016 Wood was President of the Combinatorial Mathematics Society of Australasia.
