Summary

Joseph Simmonds was a Minister of the Wesleyan Methodist church. He took an interest in trees and forestry and published Trees from other lands for shelter and timber in New Zealand - Eucalypts in 1927. He corresponded with Joseph Maiden and studied and collected plant specimens in Tasmania.
