Summary
Catherine Money is one of the world's leading experts in the field of leather production. She has done extensive research and development towards the minimisation of waste and maximisation of efficiency in the tanning industry, much of which has been implemented in production both in Australia and overseas.
She worked within the CSIRO's Leather Research Centre from 1966 until its closure in 2005, after which she established herself as an independent consultant to the leather industry.
