Summary
Duncan Sheppey Davies was Manager of ICI UK's Corporate Laboratories and later General Manager of ICI R&D London. He provided support to ICI Australia by assembling a large team of about 40 researchers in the UK to support Australia's team of about 25, working on a new method of synthesising nylon in the early 1960s.
