Summary

Ernest Kurth was Professor of Chemistry, University of Tasmania from 1941. Earlier he had been Lecturer in Applied Chemistry 1923-1937 and Head of the Chemistry Department 1937-1941. While working at the University of Tasmania he was also head of the Department of Chemistry at the Hobart Technical College.
