Summary
Herbert Maunsell Hewlett established a radiology department at the Children's Hospital, Melbourne in 1897 and he worked there for some 30 years. In 1912 he was appointed as the Hospital's skiagraphist a position he also held at St Vincent's Hospital from 1911-34.
