Summary

Gustav Weindorfer arrived in Australia in 1900 and established himself in Melbourne. He became an enthusiastic member of the Field Naturalists' Club of Victoria and was fascinated with native vegetation. He later moved to Tasmania and settled in the Cradle Mountain area.
