Summary

CSIRO Sustainable Ecosystems was established in 2000. The research division consists of the former Division of Wildlife and Ecology, as well as components of the Division of Tropical Agriculture.

From their Web site, November 2002: "We in CSIRO Sustainable Ecosystems seek to inspire and enable Australians to nurture the ecosystems that sustain viable enterprises, that maintain our unique biodiversity, and that support robust rural and urban communities."
