Summary

Kimpton's Flour Mill was established by W. S. Kimpton and produced biscuit flours from local wheat and supplied the major biscuit manufacturers throughout Australia. In 1936 it became the first Australian flour mill to have a laboratory and the first to run a commercial plant to trial the air classification of flour technique in 1959.
