Summary

The Chamber of Mines of Western Australia was established in 1901, after the Kalgoorlie and Coolgardie Chambers of Mines were amalgamated. As the mining industry expanded, so did the interests of the Chamber. It was renamed in the 1960s, becoming the Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western Australia.
