The Department of Communication and Electronic Engineering was part of RMIT University's Faculty of Engineering. In 2002 the Department had 31 full-time academic members of staff, along with 20 technical and administrative staff.
Neither the Department of Communication and Electronic Engineering or the Faculty of Engineering exist anymore. Both have been incorporated into the Science, Engineering and Technology portfolio.
